Zelda MTG 19-27

Description

Quite some time back I tried to make a series of Zelda MTG cards.... that ended up failing. The artwork was mediocre (mine anyway), and the cards just ended up being totally unbalanced. Nowdays I feel my art is better (hence why I have been doing all the Zelda studies) and since my grasp on Magic the Gathering is better now I feel I can make balanced cards. Please MTG nuts, bash these cards and help me fix anything you think is unfair. Anywho, I love Zelda and I love MTG, putting them together can only equals epic.

NOTES:

There are several things I plan on introducing to MTG with these cards. This includes:

1. Colorless creatures that do not count as artifacts.

2. Using the term "legendary creature" lightly. I feel in MTG the term Legendary does not exactly fit a lot of the one-only cards. It should be a different term like "VIP". Anywho, I will only use the term "Legendary" for creatures I feel truly are legendary.

3. All the Sage creatures will use the Future Sight borders, because they look badass.

NEW ABILITIES:

1. Color Shift: Tap a basic land to change this creature to the color of tapped land's mana.

Creatures can change their color type by paying 1 mana of said color. I plan on using this ability for most Wizzrobe cards.

2. Undying (X): This creature is capable of attacking while in the graveyard for X damage. It can be blocked.

Creatures are capable of attacking even when in the graveyard. This effect is potentially OP, so it will be used for very few undead creatures like powerful Stalfos. For instance, if a 4/4 creature has Undying 2, it could attack for 2 damage while in the graveyard instead of it's original power. Creatures in the graveyard are capable of being blocked and are considered to have 0 toughness, and generally are unable to do large quantities of damage.

3. Stun: Target creatures that block this creature become and remain tapped until the end of their controller's next turn.

For example if you were to block a creature with stun, your blocking creature would tap and not untap until your following turn.

4. Survivor (X): This comes into play with X +1/+1 counter(s) on it. When it’s put into a graveyard, you may put its +1/+1 counters on target creature.

Basically Modular for non artifact creatures.

5. Timewarp: When this creature is put into a graveyard or removed from play, target player loses his or her next turn.

Very few creatures will have this ability, as it is potentially OP.

6. Posses (X) : This creature can take control of one target permanent at a time with a power of X or less. If this creature is put into the graveyard or removed from the game, return target creature to owner's control.

Do I sense Veran? Just another control ability I presume.

7. Numerous: You may have more then four of this creature in play and in your deck at once.

This is a necessity for sides like the Gohma and Fairies.

8. Wild: This creature can be used by both players and untaps on each player's upkeep.

Used for creatures that are most likely to be very difficult to domesticate. Examples would be Peahats, Tektites, and Goats. Yes, goats.

The term "Legendary Planeswalker" is redundant... All Planeswalkers are Legendary and beyond because they die if any other version of them hits the field
