Edit: I posted this late at night so it might seem rambly, and I apologize if I offended you with my poor choice of words.

So how much progress has been made on the game in all these years? Also, is it going to be another rts?

So far all I’ve seen from this is the different images you’ve posted, and a few short clips. The premise for a western with fantasy elements seems interesting. One thing that’s really funny is this looks like a weird dark version of that Rango movie because it’s cowboy themed, and all the characters are lizards. I like this newer design more than the old ones (same goes for those blue people from your Sigma game. The original design looks absolutely atrocious. No offense, it just looked really goofy. The new one without a mouth or the Twi’lek head tails look so much better).

I mean no offense by this, but nobody but your most devoted fans is going to want to buy this unless it has a truly amazing story/gameplay. The reason I’m saying this is because your Zelda rts is free; and that has grown into a truly massive project with radically different factions, and it’s own campaign (plus a world map whenever you guys get around to it). If somebody were to look at that, and back at this they’d probably not want to pay money for a lesser product. I’m not calling you lazy or anything. You have done a crazy amount of work on free projects.

Maybe, you could have a branching narrative with different factions like in New Vegas. That way there would be lots of replay value based on your choices throughout the game. If you went down that route you could have character deaths be permanent, and will lock you out of certain content. Unfortunately the problem with a branching narrative is that most of the player’s choices would be pointless because only one set of events would be canon.

I hope that there’s a lot of moral ambiguity. Based on the fact that those thugs told Ome that her father was a bad man who stole from them I’m guessing that we’ll be able to see both perspectives on the world. That kind of a thing would really enhance the story.
