Info: Unlike most of the characters in Sigma, Aabtani has no real affiliation with any military organization. A librarian that worked at the V.R.A. embassy, Aabtani was one of the few Jevorons that befriended Hawksin (likely because she was one of the few that could actually speak the language). At a young age she became pregnant, an act that resulted in her lover leaving and abandoning her. To make matters worse her child died during birth, leaving her with nothing but a broken life. Eventually she recovered, working as a librarian from city to city until she landed her final job at the embassy.
Having been abandoned and then losing a child at a young age, it can be said Aabtani is a bit disturbed in the head. Regardless, she's made a remarkable recovery in the decade that followed and rarely shows any sign of instability. She is often very calm and treats other with respect. She often has an aura of wisdom about her, and she becomes something of a mother figure to Hawksin after they meet.
Aabtani will be playable in Sigma at one point, though at this time that will remain under wraps to avoid spoilers.

I can definitely see the 'disturbed mind' and 'wisdom' concept; her glowing eyes help give that image :)

Considering how she looks in the portrait and what we already know, it's far from gone, and she's probably far form cured.
